Chennai Annual NASA
A day came when we all are eagerly waiting for i.e. 22nd of Jan. it is the day when we all are ready for our south trip we all are going to Chennai for our educational trip. We had to attend 57th annual NASA there at MIDAS College at Swanabhumi Chennai. We were 22 student who were selected for this event.
With the fog of Delhi & severing night On 22nd of Jan, we departure with Tamil Nadu expressway train at10:30PM, throughout journey our train stopped at different Station. Best part through out a journey I was with my friend Sanchit kriti , Rajat, Baban Arunima &Shashank & some of my favorite senior.
We arrived Chennai central railway at 10:30 am on 24th of Dec weather is quite hot and humid. Quite strange. In the difference between the weather condition in Delhi & Chennai we all we waiting for the bus which is going to pick us from the railway station to the college. At the end bus arrived at 12:30PM then we depart from station to the Midas college.. Journey from station to college was quite amazing hugs coconut trees around us cold winds were made journey pleasant. We reached there within an hour, after checking we got our NASA id cards reached to our accommodation we rest there & get fresh
On 25 th of jan our Nasa Started it was an event of 4 days on 25th of Jan opening ceremony of NASA get started we were not able to attend that ceremony because we all were quite busy with our trophies’ sheet which is about to start after the event of opening Ceremony. At 10:30am paneling of sheet get started. Paneling of Rubbins trophies had been done at 11:00 am
NASA is an Architectural event where throughout the different state of India the student of architecture come at a 1 platform to get interact with each other through competition or workshops. At that time 212 colleges were came for participate.
I get a chance to attend workshop of bamboo construction under architect Mafla Farnandish, She was quite amazing and talented master who guide and trained us very well. 4 day Workshop 1st day was an introduction part in which we get a knowledge about the bamboo architecture And the construction ideas same day after a lunch we taught us how to work with bamboo on site. Till the end of the 4th day we worked on 2project which was quite massive one.
1 st was the pergola design 2nd was the sculpture with the bamboo.
At end of the 4th day night with the closing ceremony of 57nd Annual NASA quite full of musical & joyful night. Next day we off for the beach Marine beach i.e. another of the creation of nature which I saw
At the dawn of eve we all recollected all our memories and went for station, because we have to depart from same railway station to New Delhi.
